CONNECTION CORNER for High School girls on Sunday, November 9 at 6:30pm. Friendships and Phonographs: We’re bringing together an inspiring panel of ladies who’ve been there — through the highs, lows, and drama of high school friendships — to share their stories, lessons, and advice on what it really means to be a good friend. We'll also try painting on vinyl!

OUTREACH COMMITTEE Are you interested in being part of a team reaching out in the community with the Good News of Jesus? Okotoks EFC is putting together an Outreach Committee to plan and participate in outreach events in our community! Please contact Pastor Trevor if you’d like to be a part of this. Our first event will be at Light Up Okotoks on November 21.

LIGHT UP OKOTOKS OEFC will have a booth at Light Up Okotoks on Friday, November 21. Want to help make hot chocolate, hand out glow sticks and mingle with people over a fire pit? This event is voted the #1 favourite in Okotoks every year and is a great opportunity to be present in our community. Contact the church office to sign up.

MEN'S MENTORING At OEFC we are focused on helping all people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. In view of this, our OEFC Men’s Ministry has launched One-to-One Discipleship. We believe that we need one another as we strive to grow to be more like Jesus and more obedient to Him! Our Mentoring Ministry connects men who will commit to meeting together to encourage one another in their walk with Jesus. Please contact Pastor Trevor for more information.

SHOEBOX MINISTRY (Operation Christmas Child) Pick up a shoebox in the foyer and participate in this annual event. Last year our church family packed 344 shoeboxes. This year's goal is 500 by November 16. Gather your growth group or family and friends to pack together!

PARKING ON SUNDAY MORNINGS Thank you to those who are able to park off-site to ease our parking lot issues. And if you are able to "park yourself" closer to the front of the sanctuary, that will be a great help to our young families or visitors (plus the volume is actually a little quieter closer to the front).

OEFC Library News
Beneath His Silence by Hannah Linder Second daughter of a baron—and a little on the mischievous side—Ella Pemberton is no governess. But the pretense is a necessity if she ever wishes to get inside of Wyckhorn Manor and attain the truth of who killed her sister. Lord Sedgewick knows there’s blood on his hands. Lies have been conceived, but the price of truth would be too great. All he has left now is his son—and his hatred. Yet as the charming governess invades his home, his safe cocoon of bitterness begins to tear away.
