LIGHT UP OKOTOKS Want to help coordinate an OEFC booth at Light Up Okotoks on Friday, November 21? This event is voted the #1 favourite in Okotoks every year and is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with people over a fire pit and hot chocolate! Deadline to register is Nov 7...contact the church office to sign up.

PARKING ON SUNDAY MORNINGS Thank you to those who are able to park off-site to ease our parking lot issues. And if you are able to "park yourself" closer to the front of the sanctuary, that will be a great help to young families or visitors (plus the volume is actually a little quieter closer to the front).

Last week to donate before the team leaves on October 28! HAND IN HANDS Updated list: men's and women's antiperspirant, disposable razors, socks, sunglasses, travel-sized soap, shampoo and conditioner. Reading glasses (+1, +1.5, +1.75, +2), reusable diapers and liners with rubber pant built in, sleepers, onesies, receiving blankets, sewing scissors, rulers, cutting mats, thread, bobbins, needles, fabric, machine needles. Financial donations may be made by cheque (payable to Hand in Hands Foundation Dominican Republic), e-transfer, or credit card.

SHOEBOX MINISTRY (Operation Christmas Child) Pick up a shoebox in the foyer and participate in this annual event. Last year our church family packed 344 shoeboxes. This year's goal is 500 by November 16. Are we up to the challenge? Gather your growth group or family and friends to pack together!

SAMARITAN'S PURSE helping with wildfire response in Nova Scotia...check online for more information and an opportunity to donate. Please pray for the residents of Annapolis County as they face a long road to recovery. Thank God for the courageous firefighters and first responders who worked hard to get the fires under control. Please keep the teams in prayer as they offer the hope and comfort only the Lord Jesus Christ can provide.
