OEFC News for May 8-17, 2025

STAFFING ANNOUNCEMENT
Introducing Trevor Brawdy, Associate Pastor
From Pastor Rob Cave:

We are excited to welcome Trevor Brawdy to our church staff team! Trevor has served as a solo pastor, an associate pastor and most recently as our district superintendent. Trevor began May 1, 2025 and will take over the majority of our discipling and equipping responsibilities which includes the oversight and development of all adult small groups; discipleship opportunities in our men’s ministries and marriage mentoring; as well as helping connect newcomers into the life of the church.

Along with myself, Steve and Chris, Trevor will help as needed in the areas of counselling, visitation, parent-child dedications, baptisms and membership classes (which are still to be developed). Trevor will also be available to preach on a regular basis.

Trevor’s addition to the staff has really been made possible because of Pastor Steve’s decision to move to half-time beginning September 1, 2025. Steve will become the Associate Pastor of Ministry to Seniors. He will oversee all community building opportunities for the Seniors, which will include Young at Heart banquets and luncheons, as well as Bible studies and other teaching opportunities. In addition, he will be available for visiting and counseling Seniors as needed. He will also be a liaison for the Missions Committee as they encourage, pray for and support our missionaries.

These are exciting days as we look forward to what God has in store for us here at OEFC!
Serving with you,
Pastor Rob
