HIGHWAY CLEANUP Saturday, May 4 at 9am, join OEFC youth and others in this annual fundraiser! Sign up HERE and meet at the church for instructions and safety equipment. Contact Pastor Chris. SABBATICAL The Elders Board has approved a sabbatical for Pastor Chris, beginning May 5 until August 3. The purpose of a sabbatical is personal renewal, growth, and formal or self-directed education. MISSIONS PROJECT for Bibles Far exceeding the goal of $20,000, over $30,000 has been given toward Wycliffe Bible Translators to print a new Bible translation in Ethiopia! The Missions Committee is matching $5,000. It's not too late to give (fund name: Missions Conference); look for the final total in the next couple of weeks! ITEMS NEEDED Darryl and Kari El with Hand in Hands are planning a trip to the Dominican Republic in June, and they would love your help with Hygiene Kits for teens 12-17! Needed: toothbrush/toothpaste, travel size shampoo / conditioner / bar soap / shower gel / hair gel, comb / brush, socks, underwear, feminine hygiene, sunglasses, deodorant, hair accessories, small journal, pen, and disposable razors. CR will focus on the strength of their small group STEP studies being held at various locations across the Foothills area. Big Group meetings take place at several churches in Calgary.
