| MONEY & MISSION FINANCIAL UPDATE from the Finance & Property Committee is attached. Mark your calendar for Sunday, May 26 (7pm) and plan to attend our next Congregational Meeting to hear more! MISSIONS FINANCIAL UPDATE for March: Budget YTD 19,740; Giving YTD 15,332* (shortfall $4,668); Expense YTD 25,917* (includes a one-time gift to the Zambia project carried from 2023 and advance annual payments for two missionaries). This does not include a one-time gift given directly to some of our missionaries that is not reflected in our Mission budget for 2024. MISSIONS PROJECT for Bibles Donations continue to come in for the Wycliffe Bible Translators to print a new Bible translation in Ethiopia! The Missions Committee will match up to $5,000. It's not too late to give. Look for the final offering in the next couple of weeks! ITEMS NEEDED Darryl and Kari E with Hand in Hands are planning a trip to the Dominican Republic in June, and they would love your help with Hygiene Kits for teens 12-17! Needed: toothbrush/toothpaste, travel size shampoo / conditioner / bar soap / shower gel / hair gel, comb / brush, socks, underwear, feminine hygiene, sunglasses, deodorant, hair accessories, small journal, pen, and disposable razors. Donation bin in foyer. MISSION TO THE SHUSWAP A project to rebuild homes lost to fire last year on the north shore of Shuswap Lake! Want more information about how you can be involved? SPRING CLEANING AT OEFC Saturday, April 20 (9am-noon) Join others for a morning of cleaning jobs around the church (interior). Please bring your own buckets and rags; all other supplies provided (including coffee and donuts!). SKATING PARTY for all families! We have rented the Centennial Green Arena for our church family to use on Saturday, April 20 (2:15-3:15pm). Donations welcome; helmets required for everyone skating. We can't wait to see you there! SENIORS SING & DINE at SABC (Southern Alberta Bible Camp) on Thursday, May 9 (11am-3pm). No charge, but there will be an opportunity to donate to the ministry of SABC.
