“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” ~ John 14:27

Greetings Church,

What a weekend! As I write this I am watching our Prime Minister hold a press conference on the front steps of his home. Behind him is his front door, and inside are his family members - some asymptomatic to this illness.

Politics aside, we are to pray for our leaders.  We are to do this "for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."  1 Tim 2:2

Our schools are shut, our borders are closed, many of us are at home for the near future.

We live in unprecedented times. But God is so very much in control. Our church is so very much alive!

I am writing to you specifically to ask for your prayer.

Our staff will meet tomorrow and we will have a heavy load to wade through.

We will be discussing livestreaming options, our small groups, prayer ministry, and pastoral care for our people and our community, as well as how to utilize technology to our best advantages.

We will follow-up in the days to come with more information and a plan for our future.
