1 Timothy 6:17-19 "As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life" (read all of 1 Timothy 6).

EVERY BRILLIANT THING now through Aug. 28 at Rosebud Theatre. Burnt Thicket Theatre's astonishing comedy about depression and cultivating joy is back! "You’re 7 years old. Mum’s in hospital. She finds it hard to be happy. You start making a list of everything worth living for. You leave it on her pillow. You know she’s read it because she’s corrected your spelling." 20 years and thousands of things later, the list takes on a life of its own, exploring the lengths we go to for those we love. Co-produced with Rosebud Theatre, at the Studio Stage in Rosebud, AB. Tickets & details online. "One of the funniest plays you’ll ever see.” —The Guardian.

PLAN TO PROTECT At OEFC, we follow Plan to Protect guidelines for the safety and well-being of the children in the care of the nursery and children's ministry classes. All of our workers and volunteers are required to complete training, and we implement a Child Check-In system with labels for the child and parent alike. Parents or older siblings are REQUIRED to show their label when picking up their family member. Recognizing that we have high-risk children in our care at times, we will continue to strictly follow these guidelines. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation! Talk with Pastor Chris for more information.
