MASKS MANDATORY

The Town of Okotoks has implemented mandatory masks for public spaces, including places of worship. Here's what that means for OEFC:

  • Sunday mornings: everyone in the building needs to wear a mask unless exempt (those on the platform to sign, play instruments or speak are exempt while on the platform).
  • During the week: everyone entering the building needs to wear a mask in the foyer and hallways (unless exempt). Those staying in the building for a purpose (Bible study, support group, meetings) are allowed to remove their masks once they reach the room where their group is meeting, as long as they maintain 2 metres distance from one another.

Let's continue to love and respect one another as we navigate these challenges together. "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves" Romans 12:10.

WORSHIP WITH US ON SUNDAY

We are thankful to God for the opportunity to gather together as the body of Christ each Sunday, whether at home via LiveStream or in person at 28 Westland Road! Attached is the sermon-based study for personal or Growth Group use.

Two Venue Options! Register HERE to attend the Main Auditorium service, HERE for Fireside Room (live, traditional singing with livestream teaching on the big screen). Registration will remain open until Saturday night or until capacity is reached.

  • Please arrive by 9:45AM to sign in at the front kiosk (your registration does NOT guarantee you a seat!)
  • FIRESIDE ROOM attendees may enter by the South door for sign-in
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory as per Town of Okotoks bylaw
  • Keep your coat with you (hangers have been removed from coat racks to eliminate crowded areas)
  • If the Main Auditorium and balcony reach capacity, latecomers and those who have not pre-registered will be seated in the Fireside Room for the traditional singing and to view the LiveStream service on the big screen

MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK

Gordon & Norma Pike, serving with REACH Global in Tennessee

Pray for:

  • Students in Gordon’s course and all ProMETA courses as they have just begun a new term.
  • Gordon to have clarity while he rewrites the thesis preparation course he has taught for several years. He is working to present it in two parts with lots of visuals that he hopes will provide students with better tools for writing their masters thesis. He struggles with communicating technical concepts in Spanish.
  • Daily strength for Norma as she spends long hours at her sewing machine working for a local boutique.
  • More support needed.

SOUTHERN ALBERTA BIBLE CAMP
