Please pray for … Safe travels for the family as they say their good-byes and head back to Ethiopia this month
Good transition and settling into life there
Several Bible transcripts stuck at the printers, held up due to COVID-19 related logistical issues
The complete funding of the trauma healing initiative (two of the four phases have been funded)
Peace in Ethiopia as there are still many areas experiencing ethnic violence and tension
CONTINUE TO PRAY... for missionary Mike M, recently diagnosed with stomach cancer. Pray that his medication will bring relief from pain and allow him to sleep and eat. Pray for the family to have wisdom and discernment as decisions are made.
CHECK IT OUT! CHURCH LIBRARY NEWS Abandoned Faith: Why Millennials Are Walking Away and How You Can Lead Them Millennials (those born between 1980 and 2000) constitute a group of over 80 million individuals who are technologically astute, ethnically diverse, and culturally and vibrantly engaged. Yet they face high unemployment and massive debt, and they comprise the largest number of religiously unaffiliated individuals in American history. Concerned by these and other hard-hitting facts, experts Alex McFarland and Jason Jimenez have created a book that will shed new light on what Christian parents must do to reach their young adult children. This book offers a strong voice of hope for parents, church leaders, and others who serve the Millennial generation.
