Luke 2:11-14 "Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

THANK YOU! "On behalf of the staff, I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! I want to especially thank you for the gifts you given us: financial gifts, words of encouragement, and all your prayers have been such a huge blessing to all of us! Thank you! May the Lord continue to lead and guide us into and through this New Year that stands before us. Serving with you" - Pastor Rob

MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK Ernest & Effie serving with Reach Global, based in Georgia
Pray for: Their coaching ministry with the different partners throughout Latin America to continue to be effective and that they can keep engaged as so much is based on relationships and the fatigue from virtual contact requires intentionality on their part. Their planning and setup for ministry initiatives into 2022. Guidance and provision as they look to scaling back somewhat as they approach retirement. This month marks the end of OEFC supporting them for around 30 years! We are thankful to the Lord for them and their many years of faithful ministry in Venezuela and Latin America.

CHRISTMAS EVENTS  Thank you to everyone involved with the Senior's Christmas Gathering, the Youth Christmas Party, the Family Christmas Concert, and the three Christmas Eve services! Your work for the Lord at this busy time of year is much appreciated by our church family.

DONATIONS WELCOME Darryl and Kari run a ministry in the Dominican Republic (Hand in Hands) and are requesting assistance with food hampers this Christmas. Although the Christmas season is a time when no one should be without basics such as food, the need is great in the Dominican throughout the year. Food costs are rising and school lunch programs have been canceled by the government. If you are able, any level of support would be most appreciated. They have a trusted partner in the Dominican who personally assembles and delivers the food hampers. You can donate via the website or e-transfer to [email protected]. Thank you so much for your consideration as Hand in Hands tries to spread the Word in the Dominican and alleviate hunger and poverty.

CHECK IT OUT! CHURCH LIBRARY  Curl up with a blanket and some tea and enjoy A Pioneer Christmas Collection: 9 Stories of Finding Shelter and Love in a Wintry Frontier. Journey along with American settlers who learn that despite where the trail takes them or how primitive their lodgings may be, Christmas is all about the heart. Determined to honour Christ’s birth, these pioneers find a way to make Christmas happen in places like a cave, a tipi, and a dugout.
