NEW RESTRICTIONS
In keeping with the new Government of Alberta health measures, OEFC will be limiting our Fireside Room service to 25 people (down from 40) and our Main Auditorium service to 90 (down from 140). This is based on 15% of fire code occupancy for in-person attendance. 


The church building will remain open during regular office hours (T-F 8:30AM-4:30PM), but some staff members will be working from home over the next weeks. If you want to stop by to see someone, just call ahead to make sure they are in their office!


In case you don't know: the church library is OPEN when the building is open! Please record the items you are borrowing at the library desk. Starting in January we'll highlight NEW books in the e-bulletin each week.


At OEFC we continue to follow mandatory guidelines by wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, and maintaining physical distance. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding!

FINANCIAL STUFF
Year-End Giving: all 2020 donations must be received by or post-marked by December 31. Receipts will be issued by February 28, 2021. You can check your donation history HERE. 2020 Expenses: all expense claims need to be submitted by January 5, 2021. The expense form must be signed by the respective ministry leader. Attach a void cheque if you want to be reimbursed electronically.

OKOTOKS FOOD BANK VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT
For the past few years, OEFC has hosted the annual OFB concert. This year the concert is going virtual, available online from December 15 to 28. Tickets start at $20 and are available HERE. More information about the concert can be found HERE. You can also support the Food Bank with donation drop-offs at Safeway, Sobeys, No Frills, WalMart and Costco. 

REGISTER FOR CHRISTMAS EVE @ OEFC
We are offering three services on Christmas Eve (3/5/7PM) and each will be similar to Sunday mornings @ OEFC (mask required, physical distance maintained) and will be limited to 90 people per service (spots are filling up!). If you have difficulty registering guests, please CALL the church office (403-938-3311) so we can assist you!

WORSHIP WITH US THIS SUNDAY
Two Venue Options! Register HERE to attend the Main Auditorium service, HERE for Fireside Room (live acoustic singing with livestream teaching on the big screen). Registration will remain open until Saturday night or until 15% capacity is reached (25 for the Fireside Room, 90 for the Main Auditorium).

STAFF CHRISTMAS GIFT
This Christmas season we again have the opportunity to show our appreciation to our OEFC staff  by blessing them with a monetary gift. If you would like to contribute, please place your gift of cash (no cheques) in an envelope marked Staff Appreciation Gift. You can place the envelopes in the collection plate or drop them off at the church office during business hours. The last day to contribute will be Sunday, Dec 20. The Finance and Property Committee will be distributing your gifts among our staff members. Please note your gifts will not be eligible for a tax receipt.
