Not Alone by Jennie Allen              $20
A study on friendship
     Tuesday mornings: Lisa Branch

In the beginning, God created a human. And in God’s sin-free, beautiful world, only one thing was declared not good: that the human was alone. This isn’t just the  story of marriage; it’s the story of humanity. We’re made in the image of our God who exists in Trinity, in divine community. We were created for community. And because our Father is generous, He’s given us one of the most essential, fun, and life-changing relationships for community: friendship.

In this six-week study, we’re going to talk all about friendship: why we need it, biblical examples, and pitfalls, challenges and joys. We’re going there: talking about toxic relationships and boundaries and how to rebuild broken trust. But most of all, we are going to celebrate the encouragement, wisdom, fun, and love that can only come through friends.

James by Francis Chan $5
     Tuesday mornings: Janice Metcalf

True faith produces fruit. A faith without action and without life change is ultimately a dead faith. The book of James speaks to the realities of a living faith in Jesus — the kind of roll-up-your-sleeves and get-your-hands-dirty discipleship that is borne out of an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. James writes to believers who know suffering, who’ve faced trials, and who ultimately desire a deep relationship with God.

In 12 sessions, Francis Chan works through James verse-by-verse, challenging followers of Christ to move beyond a private, intellectual knowledge of God and His Word to a vibrant faith that impacts every square inch  of life.
